Tehran: 75 prisoners in a dire situation in the notorious Evin Prison

                     

The notorious Evin Prison in Tehran was on the spot on Friday where 75 political prisoners are kept in the solitary of Ward 7 under constant torture and degrading inhumane conditions. They are even deprived of the most elementary rights a prisoner should have. 
Solitaries in Ward 7 are located in the basement with no windows or ventilation facility. The prison clinic sewage system runs adjacent to these cells and trucks stop behind walls of these cells for loading and unloading creating constant noise and disturbances. The corridors and cells in this section are always full of suffocating smoke due to presence of these trucks making the air intolerable to breath. This is despite numerous respiratory and heart diseases that these prisoners have.
