Women are suffering in Khamenei regime prisons
Ms. Atena Daemi, a civil and child rights activist has been recently transferred to a medical center in Tehran following physical complications in prison. It is said that Evin Prison authorities treated her and her family with brutality.
“The authorities had handcuffed Atena and did not allow her to speak with her family,” one eyewitness said.
Ms. Daemi who was arrested for writing a book on child poverty and child abuse in the Mullahs’ ruled Iran, was sentenced to 14 years behind bars just to defend the rights of children. Atena has been a vocal critic of the Iranian regime and the Supreme Leader, Khamenei himself.
Atena’s family has provided all the costs for the visit to a medical clinic, and the costs for the treatment and medication, according to an informed source.
Atena Daemi was transferred to the notorious Evin Prison clinic last month due to internal abdominal bleeding.
