Iran: Coronavirus Death Toll Surpasses 451,400

 Ardabil Medical University: The Coronavirus is like embers beneath the ashes and is still burning. There is a possibility of a sixth Coronavirus outbreak in early or late December. (Tasnim news agency, October 8, 2021)

• Isfahan Medical Universities: In the past 24 hours, 322 new COVID-19 patients were hospitalized. Out of 2,236 COVID-19 patients hospitalized, 322 are in ‌‌‌ICU. (IMNA news agency, October 8, 2021)
• Yazd Medical University: The number of COVID-19 hospitalizations has increased by 10% this week, and the number of infections will increase in the coming weeks. (IRNA news agency, October 8, 2021)
• West Azerbaijan Medical University: 251 people were hospitalized in the past 24 hours. There are currently 1,465 COVID-19 inpatients and 307 in ‌‌‌ICU. (Mehr news agency, October 8, 2021)
• Shiraz Medical University: Coronavirus is still circulating in the community. There are 2,026 COVID-19 patients hospitalized in the Province and 204 in ICU. (ISNA news agency, October 8, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Friday, October 8, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 451,400. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 105,726, Khorasan Razavi 37,155, Isfahan 30,475, Khuzestan 27,675, West Azerbaijan 16,298, Fars 16,270, Lorestan 15,055, Alborz 13,268, Qom 12,385, Hamedan 8,444, Kermanshah 8,184, Yazd 7,444, and North Khorasan 5,789.
