Saeed Hosseinzadeh, a civil activist detained in hall 2 of ward 7 in Evin Prison who is suffering from various illnesses while under detention and becoming ill while in detention, continues to be deprived of medical care and being sent to a hospital to undergo surgery. His illnesses include heart problems, knee pains, sinus problems, severe pains in the neck and shoulders, rheumatism, breathing disorders and abdominal bleeding.
This civil activist had prior to this been arrested in October 2014 at his home and transferred to solitary confinement in ward 2A of Evin Prison in Tehran.
This civil activist went on hunger strike back in November, protesting lack of any care to his illness and officials blocking his transfer to a medical center.
