• Chinese Telecom Giant ZTE Will Pay a $1 Billion Fine After Violating Iran and North Korea Sanctions
The United States has reached a deal with Chinese telecommunications giant ZTE Corp. that includes a $1 billion fine, according to Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross.
The fine comes on top of the roughly $1 billion ZTE has already paid for selling equipment to North Korea and Iran in violation of U.S. sanctions.

In a gunfight at a border post near the northwestern city of Sardasht, two Iranian border guards were shot June 5.
First lieutenant Yousef Piraneh and warrant officer Mahboub Qorbani were killed in the fighting, which broke out at 11 p.m. local time.
• Saudi court sentences four persons for links to Iran
A Saudi court has sentenced four people to death for alleged links to the Kingdom's arch-rival Iran.
State media reported on Thursday that the four were guilty of conspiring to kill "prominent figures" in the predominantly Sunni Gulf nation.
"The criminal court has sentenced four terrorists to death for forming a cell for Iran," the state-owned al-Ekhbariya TV said.

On Tuesday, June 5, 2018, poultry workers in Garmsar, Iran gathered in front of the Governorate in Garmsar in protest to the expensive prices for breeding grain that has led to many bankruptcies in the poultry industry.
The protest in Garmsar is one of the several protests that starting from Saturday, poultry workers had gathered for two days in several provinces of Iran such as Yazd, Khorasan, Semnan, Ardebil, Mazandaran and Tehran to declare bankruptcy and protested against the high cost of breeding grain for the chicken poultry.

June 7, 2018 - The Iranian regime’s Intelligence Ministry in Ahvaz has murdered a 20-year-old local under torture, reports indicate.
Ahvaz intelligence authorities contacted the family of Hatam Marmazi on Tuesday to have them come and receive his corpse.
Marmazi, a political and cultural activist born in the city of Susangerd, was arrested by Ahvaz intelligence authorities on June 12th, 2017, in a village while returning from the home of his relatives.
