Regime agents express concern about schools reopening tomorrow by orders of Rouhani
- Abbas Aghazadeh, Chairman of the General Assembly of the State Medical Organization: The reopening of schools is not in line with the prevailing Coronavirus conditions and the “red” situation in many parts of the country. Endangering the lives of millions of students and teachers could become a human catastrophe in no time!
- The spokesperson for the Health Ministry: Currently, 99 cities are red, 83 are in a state of alert, but the rest of the cities are not in a state of white, i.e., low risk. There are no virus-free spots in the country
- Saeed Namaki, regime’s Health Minister: I am worried about a new wave of Coronavirus. Our colleagues (Medical staff) are fatigued, and many of them may not be there.
- Qazvin University of Medical Sciences: Reopening of schools and the possibility of an influenza outbreak and a new Coronavirus outbreak can cause severe concern and create a critical condition.
- Maryam Rajavi: While the schools lack the minimum health facilities in general, and when the slightest requirements for protecting the students against the Coronavirus are non-existent, millions of students are sent to schools. The reopening of schools without the necessary and adequate protective measures will lead to a new wave of Coronavirus outbreak and will result in the death of many of our students and compatriots.
- Rajavi advised parents, especially those with younger children, to act in a way that reduces the risk of infection to students and their families.
The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on September 4, 2020, that the Coronavirus death toll in 410 cities across Iran had passed 98,900. The number of victims in Tehran is 24,055, Isfahan 4,475, Lorestan 4,355, Alborz 2,813, Fars 2,781, Semnan 1,297, Ilam 840, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 697.
Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, the President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), Maryam Rajavi, said: Millions of students are sent to schools at a time when there the slightest possibility of protecting students from the Coronavirus are non-existent, especially in schools that under normal circumstances often lack the minimum health facilities. The reopening of schools without the necessary and adequate guarantees will lead to a new wave of Coronavirus outbreak and the death of many of our students and compatriots. Khamenei and the clerics, who do not want to pay the price of resolving the issue in a scientific way and according to the experts’ views, are sending the students to Coronavirus killing ground. This is a continuation of the criminal policy, based on which they sent workers and the impoverished to work during the Coronavirus outbreak and arranged for Muharram mourning ceremonies.
Mrs. Rajavi advised the parents of the students, especially young students, to act in such a way that the possibility of transmission to the students and their families is reduced to a minimum.
