Iran: COVID-19 Death Toll Exceeds 333,600

 Health Ministry: New COVID-19 infections stand at 27,444, unprecedented since the beginning of the pandemic

• Tehran Sina Hospital Emergency: We have dozens of calls every day looking for an empty bed. Sometimes to keep the patient in the emergency room, they use a blanket on the floor. (ISNA news agency, July 20, 2021)

• Golestan University of Medical Sciences: Three weeks ago, the number of COVID-19 patients admitted to the Province was 230, but now it has reached one thousand. 13 out of 14 cities in the Province are red. (ISNA, July 20, 2021)

The People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI/MEK) announced on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, that the Coronavirus death toll in 547 cities had exceeded 333,600. The number of victims in Tehran has reached 77,776, Isfahan 22,590, Khuzestan 21,216, Khorasan Razavi 20,270, East Azerbaijan 13,328, Mazandaran 12,910, Lorestan 12,880, West Azerbaijan 12,288, Fars 11,277, Alborz 9,533, Sistan and Baluchestan 8,981, Kerman 8,023, Golestan 7,805, Hamedan 7,043,Kermanshah 6,308, Yazd 5,677, Hormozgan 5,440, Ardabil 4,055, Qazvin 3,799, Bushehr 3,764, Ilam 3,481, and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari 2,720.
